Air Conditioning Systems was established in August with local industrial air conditioner maker Leading Electric & Machinery as well as Hotai Development, Daikin's Taiwanese distributor.

Daikin Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., has established a joint venture with Hotai Development Co., its Taiwanese distributor, and industrial HVAC manufacturer Leading Electric & Machinery Company.
