A large study of 30,000 adults diagnosed with ADHD in the U.K. found women with ADHD died roughly nine years younger than women without a diagnosis. Men had about a seven-year shorter lifespan.

A world-first study led by UCL researchers, published in The British Journal of Psychiatry, analyzed anonymized primary care data from 30,029 adults across the UK diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
