The announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 comes with many games in its library, but not all of them are actually confirmed, just hinted at.

So, there you go, there are the games we’re desperate to see as Nintendo Switch 2 launch titles. They won’t be, but life is a constant cycle of unbridled hope and often slightly disappointing by comparison reality, with the hope bit being both what makes it all so enthralling, and so soul-warping.

The Switch 2 announcement contained precious little real information. The new machine will seemingly function much like the original: a hybrid device operating as both portable and console. Nintendo’s showcase video depicts an original Switch morphing into a slightly larger, somewhat more grown-up and less colourful Switch 2 model.

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer made it clear that Xbox plans to bring games to the Nintendo Switch 2 when it launches later this year.

The Switch 2 is coming, and while Nintendo hasn't formally revealed its software lineup yet, one rumour suggests we'll be slaying demons in no time.
