A special Super Mario Party Jamboree event is taking place in Super Mario Run until January 29, 2025. Completing missions gets players themed statues of Mario, Bowser, Peach, and Goomba.

During the interview, Schwarts was asked about the possible crossover, as Sonic and Mario have met in video game form a few times with the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games and Super Smash Bros.
