AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Demolition began Monday to make way for the Bridge Builder Community, a tiny homes community aimed to help young adults who have aged out of the foster care system.

The rural Georgia town, where Jimmy Carter was born and where he died on Sunday, remembers the former president as a peacemaker, humanitarian and champion of democracy.
