HP shared a bunch of new gaming hardware at Amplify 2025, including the OMEN 16 Slim designed for mobile gamers. Here's what you need to know.

HP is introducing a new entry into its PC gaming line with the Omen 16 Slim. As the name indicates, it’s a 16-inch gaming laptop with a “slim” profile — the thinnest portion being 20mm / 0.79 inches.

The Omen 16 Slim aims to do exactly what its name suggests – take the experience of using the excellent Omen 16 and simply slim it down a little. HP says it'll be 16% thinner than the full-sized Omen 16, which might not sound like much but should be extremely noticeable on the lap or in a backpack.
