Variety によると、パラマウントはシリーズ第4作を2027年3月19日に米国公開する予定で、ソニックのカムバックは約2年後となる。次回作について、公開日以外の詳細は発表されていない。 シリーズ第3弾の最新作『ソニック × シャドウ TOKYO MISSION』の興行収入は北米で2億1800万ドル（約339億円）、全世界で4億2000万ドル（約653億円）以上を記録。
