Xbox Game Pass expands the options for fans of Balatro, making the popular deckbuilder available to enjoy on yet another tier.

Balatro is coming to Xbox Game Pass today, and it's getting a free update, with cards based on Assassin's Creed, Bugsnax, and more.

While we still don't have the first full batch of March monthly newcomers (although we can expect that very soon, so stay tuned), the Xbox team has revealed eight games leaving its Game Pass subscription service within the next two weeks, including Lies of P and Yakuza 5 Remastered.

Announced as part of the the latest ID@Xbox stream, the winner of Best Independent Game, Best Debut Indie Game and Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2024 has been added to the lineup of titles available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and even Standard members.

However, you can expect to find Balatro available on Xbox Game Pass right now, no waiting involved. While it was already out on Xbox for purchase, this makes it even easier to get really, really addicted to Balatro's card-slinging antics like we already have. Jimbo would be proud.
