A 33-year-old man was aboard an A train when an unknown individual began arguing with him over a seat, police said.

The New York City Fire Department says they were called to 191st Street and St. Nicholas Avenue at around 12:50 p.m. for reports of smoke in the station.

Two people have been treated due to a smoke condition along the 1 subway line in Northern Manhattan, officials said.
