The squash plants ?Mashed Potatoes? is a bush type winter squash for larger patio containers and the open ground. This squash plant will produce acorn-type squash with white skin and almost white flesh. 450-700g fruit mainly produced at the crown of the plant. This unique squash resembles mashed potato when cooked and fluffed.

C. pepo. Slightly oblong acorn squashes grow on compact, semi-bush vines. The exterior skins are bright white, and hold their colour right into the fall. The interior flesh is also white and low in sugar. It takes on the appearance of mashed potatoes when cooked and fluffed.
