Select the data range with which you want to make the Pie Chart. Selected cell range B4:D11. Go to the Insert tab. Select Insert Pie or Doughnut Chart from the Charts group. A drop-down menu will appear. Select the type of Pie Chart you want. Selected Pie from 2-D Pie. You will see a Pie Chart with your selected data inserted into the Excel Sheet.

Select any cell in the PivotTable. Go to PivotChart, select Pie (or use Insert, select Insert Pie or Doughnut Chart and click on Pie). Customize the chart by clicking on Chart Elements.

Select any cell in your pivot table (C1:D12). Navigate to the Insert tab. Hit the “ Insert Pie or Doughnut Chart ” button. Under “ 2-D Pie, ” click “ Pie. Once you do that, Excel will automatically plot a pie graph using your pivot table.

Select the data ranging from C5 to C10. Go to the Insert tab on your Toolbar. Click on the Pie Chart button. Choose the first 3-D Pie option. To insert data labels, click on the Plus icon in the top-right corner of the chart and select the Data Labels option. Data labels will appear on your pie chart, as pictured below.

After following the steps on how to create pivot tables, we can get the following output. Select the data set and go to the Insert tab from the ribbon. Click on the Pivot Chart from the Charts group. Select Pivot Chart from the drop-down. Select Pie from the Insert Chart dialogue box. Click OK. This has created a Pie Chart from a Pivot Table.
