    If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly

    Tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur

    • Muscle pain/cramps
    • Irregular heartbeat
    • Weakness
    • Swelling hands/ankles/feet
    • Unusual weight gain
    • Signs of infection
    • Vision problems
    • Vomit that looks like coffee grounds
    • Black/bloody stools
    • Severe stomach/abdominal pain
    • Mental/mood changes
    • Slow wound healing
    • Thinning skin
    • Bone pain
    • Menstrual period changes
    • Puffy face
    • Seizures
    • Easy bruising/bleeding

    A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including

    • Rash
    • Itching/swelling
    • Severe dizziness
    • Trouble breathing

    Other things to note

    • This medication may rarely make your blood sugar rise, which can cause or worsen diabetes. Tell your doctor right away if you have symptoms of high blood sugar, such as increased thirst/urination. If you already have diabetes, check your blood sugar regularly as directed and share the results with your doctor. Your doctor may need to adjust your diabetes medication, exercise program, or diet.

    Precautions

    • Best to take with food to lessen stomach upset
    • MD may need to reduce the dose before you stop it.
    • Call MD if fatigue/sore throat/infection occurs.
    • May cause high blood sugar in diabetics
    • Call Dr if you have black stools or stomach pain
    • No aspirin-like meds. Ask MD about daily aspirin.
    • Avoid live vaccines and newly vaccinated people.
    • For concentrate, oral products : Measure dose using a dosing spoon/cup/syringe.
    • For tablet products : Tell Dr/dentist on drug prior to any surgery.
    • For tablet, delayed release products : Swallow whole tablet. Do not break, chew or crush.

    • Stomach/intestinal problems (such as ulcer, diverticulitis)
    • Bone loss (osteoporosis)
    • Mental/mood disorders (such as psychosis, anxiety, depression)
    • Eye diseases (such as cataracts, glaucoma)
    • Diabetes
    • Mineral imbalance (such as low level of potassium/calcium in the blood)
    • Seizures
    • Blood clots
    • Bleeding problems
