  2. To replace the screen of a PSP 1000, you need to follow these steps12:
    1. Turn the PSP over so its back is facing you and remove the battery.
    2. Remove the four screws shown with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
    3. Remove the front casing.
    4. Extract the screen.
    5. Place your new screen into position.
    6. Put the button bar back in its place.
    7. Clean the screen.
    8. Re-assemble.
