The reason the Ewoks were able to beat the troopers to death despite their low tech weaponry is the same unfortunate reality of Newton's second law: force is still force, even when you are armored.

4 mrt. 2022 · Seriously, in all of Star Wars, there is one constant: Stormtrooper armor sucks.It is fragile enough to get turned into nothing when a metal stick hits it, if you get punched while wearing the helmet your head knocks back and forth on the inside of it, the eye holes are so small that you can't aim worth a shit, one blaster bolt will instantly go through it, and so much more!

27 nov. 2016 · Stormtrooper armor was light enough and durable enough to be worth wearing. While a blaster shot to the armor or side would be completely incapacitating normally, with stormtrooper armor it becomes something you can keep fighting through.

The clone trooper armor does have a HUD, but it is not as detailed as the Imperial version. Additionally, clone armor did not have built-in night vision and had to rely on an external attachment, whereas stormtrooper armor had is built into the visor.

23 jan. 2021 · Stormtrooper armor is shown to be very effective. Unlike Clone armor, Stormtrooper armor is designed to absorb and disperse blaster bolts instead of outright stopping them. When Stormtroopers appear to be "dead" it is likely they are actually just knocked unconscious.
