All videos upside down and backwards - DeoVR
It appears that Top/Bottom VR videos actually have the eyes switched as well. Even with reverse vertical and switch eyes they are still behind me, but can be viewed if I physically turn around. I have LAV Filters and HEVC codec installed and have tried reinstalling them with a clean reboot in between uninstall, install, and afterwards.
Most 3D movies are displayed in the wrong aspect ratio - DeoVR
If it's a full-SBS or Full-TB 3D video, you will have a great 3D cinema experience. If it's a vr180 or vr360 video, you will love DeoVR even more. DeoVR offers the best compatibility for those videos. To fix the aspect ratio problem, you need to re-encode the video from HSBS/HTB to Full SBS/Full TB. Not really worth the effort.
SLR issue - DeoVR
Basically it's to do with the video format changing. You unfortunately need to ditch the old Oculus Quest 1 headset and get a new Meta Quest. I got the Meta Quest 3S and sold the old one on eBay. Video quality is much better, headset is more comfortable, it's compatible with haptic sex toys like Autoblow AI Ultra, which is actually incredible.
Upgrades for DeoVR - DeoVR
Basically you're just showing what vr they could watch if they had a vr headset. But in meantime there's cool 2d videos for now to watch untill a tv actually plays vr to watch on deovr mobile available on all devices. And if there's not a TV that plays vr videos there's should be! I enjoy watching vr videos on my phone as well.
Passthrough Alpha not working - DeoVR
I'm using deovr with a quest 3 connected to my PC and playing deovr through meta quest link. (From oculus app) However, when I enable the alpha passthrough option on relevant videos it no longer works. The background of the video remains as if I didn't turn the passthrough option on. I've tried a reinstall but that doesn't seem to have worked.

DeoVR and 6DoF - DeoVR
ihatzi Hello, there is additional tab in player settings panel where you have to enable 6DOF.. Be warned that it is not true 6DOF, VR videos are projected on a sphere/dome, when you move the view point in VR you are distorting what you see, since your viewpoint should always stay on same position as the point from which the video is projected on a dome.
