Mar 15, 2014 · Hey Guys i have a mikes xs pma and ive been searching for PROPER ways to set the timing. my install instructions say to set TDC exactly in the centre notch of the inspection cover while the Hughs instructions show TDC to be approx 1/2" right of the notch. im confused as the kits look very similar.

Jan 8, 2012 · BUTT ugly that pic of the end of the tack drive cable with a piece of pop cam looks like a damn good idea, too bad I got suckered in on mikes tack drive plug , whit BTW they are out of stock on just like the Canadian distributor, take my advice and use the end of the cable drive and a piece of pop can like ? said looks good !

Nov 8, 2014 · I bought the kit from mikes XS couldn't get them to sync, was fighting them tooth and nail untill I noticed a back pop at idle on one cylinder. I double checked my points, valve clearances, valve seats, coils, plugs, pickup all was within tolerance.

Aug 18, 2017 · Please be aware that Mikes XS do not apply import duties to anything they sell. I recently purchased some air box rubbers and was landed with a £14.13 charge by The Royal Mail to cover import taxes and an £8 admin fee. You will need to add these charges on to any purchase fee when you're considering buying anything from them.

Mikes XS PM Charge kit - remove old regulator and rectifier?
Aug 5, 2024 · Recently bought my first XS, and first ride ended up on the back of the trailer due to the charging system not producing anymore than 9V. Just finished installing new Mikes XS Charge PM kit with solid state regulator/rectifier, and the bike starts right up and runs with all lights and horn etc. (and is charging the battery at 13.5V and up to 14V.)
